Ladytron
Ladytron is music for splitting town at 4 in the morning, but also for dancing. It’s lively electronic music for a long train ride past creepy gray cooling towers, and then also for the crowded warehouse dance party you stumble into at the end of the ride. Since 1998, this European quartet has made triumphant yet introspective music, the eerie, beautiful voices of Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo floating proud and pretty in the silver sky above concrete floors pulsing with playful rhythms, beats and noise.
